In the heart of Havelock North, this cafe has been a long time locals hangout. Sam Flynn is the owner/operator of Bay Espresso in the Village. Sam first started as a Barista at the cafe, then worked as the Cafe Manager. Sam then purchased the cafe in 2016. “I love Bay Espresso, the coffee culture and serving everyone their daily coffee fix. We are part of people’s daily rituals and we take our coffee seriously”.
Our cafe is a great spot for people watching, amongst the shops and bustle of the village. Our recommendation is to nab a table out on the footpath, under the grapevine, and watch the world go by. Eggs Bene is definitely the crowd favourite here, with a coffee of course.
We also stock a good selection of fresh Bay Espresso coffee beans for you to enjoy at home. We can grind the beans, at the cafe, for exactly what you need.
