On 29-08-2020 Sam Flynn (owner of Bay Espresso in the Village, Havelock North) and Chris Willis (our coffee roaster) became parents for the first time.
Sam: Becoming a working mum has definitely had its challenges, from going back to work too early, Mum guilts. I had so many people telling me I needed to stay at home with my son and make the most of every moment, but that’s easier said than done when you run a busy cafe. My mind was all over the show. Even though it took a while to get there I think I have found that happy work/life balance and am now enjoying being back in my cafe for a few days a week, as our son settles in to daycare. #workingmumlife
